Aside from what Ms. Sadoku had posted earlier, though, Maya's cousins aren't getting anything either. They've practically mobilized the entire Fey clan and are on the verge of tapping the other spirit channeling clans for help. I can't really trust the demographic records, either. There must have been thousands of Chisako Satos who've died over the years and who knows? Maybe she died under a different name! It's been ages since they've contacted me for any updates. I'm really worried this might be more than just a plain kidnap-for-ransom motive... [Filter: Westley, Head of Records Dept.] We still don't know where Maya is. | 10:44 am | [Filter: Self] I can't believe it. First, I've lost the magatama and now Maya has been kidnapped by a spirit. Nothing is helping me get my mind back together. I've hardly had enough sleep or work done this past few days, it's becoming to be bothersome to everyone. It's like things are falling apart on me... But I have a plan. [Filter: Koenma Daioh, Tia Dalma, Howl Jenkins, Ayame Sadoku] Hi! I have a very serious problem right now and you're the people who I think can really help us. Two weeks ago, Maya went back home to channel a spirit for her cousin and in so doing, had allowed the spirit to kidnap her body and now she and another man are missing. No one knows where they are. I'm not sure about other channeling techniques, but in the Kurain channeling technique, Maya's spirit would have left her body for the dead's spirit to occupy it and her body changes so she could look like the dead when she was still alive. So whoever is running around now doesn't look entirely like Maya but the dead woman who stole her body. As for Maya's spirit, I don't know where it is... I don't honestly know what I'm asking from you but maybe there's some way we can find Maya by the spirit that kidnapped her? The spirit's name was Chisako Sato. I have a photo of what she looked like when she was still alive. Thanks. [Filter: Howl Jenkins] I'm sorry I'm asking so much from you. Does the Bureau have something like an agent protection program for cases like what happened to Maya? |

I know the signal in Kurain Village is still fickle after all these years but...she couldn't still be there, could she? She has a flight to catch and I don't even know what time that flight is... There's that phone by the burned down bridge, too. Why isn't she using it if she's still in Kurain Village? It's not like her not to get someone to fetch her in the airport at all... I'm getting really worried. Maybe I should contact the village itself. This isn't the first time Maya's gone back home and extended but this is the first time she hasn't left a message about it! [Filter: All Personnel] Hey, has Maya left a message with any of you? I should probably just be asking the records but she does have other friends outside that department so I just thought I might ask. She's supposed to be back by now but she's...well, she isn't yet. |

I've searched everywhere but it's just...not... It could be in the airport. But it's been WEEKS since Mrs. Miller was buried, it could be anywhere now!! There's also movie night with Maya. Maybe she took it? She could have, I was with her the entire time! Now I just need to search her apartment and things will be fine! |

This morning, I just won my case and after I told Ms. Smith about it, she disappeared. I'm glad she decided to hear me out about her brother, she seemed really happy when she went back...out there. Even if her father was proven guilty. And now about her teddy bear...it didn't disappear with her. Actually, she's asked me to give it to her brother to remember her by... ...what am I gonna do?! I can't just go out there and tell her brother everything that happened, he'll think I'm crazy! Ironic that I can't say the truth this time. Maybe I'll just leave it in his front door, knock and then run really fast before he sees me. Oh, but I'll have to leave a note of explanation, too. This is kinda difficult. I wonder where the chief's been all this while? Maya, is she gone yet? |
